The Forte Family: Just in time for the Fourth of July! [Clarksville Family Photographer]
This "American" themed family session was SO.MUCH.FUN! We met up at a local creek to help beat the heat with playing in the cool water, and it turned into a full on splash fest! You know it was a good time when even DAD was happy and not "totally over it" like most guys are.
Which brings me to an important point: one of the best compliments I can receive comes from the dads in my family sessions. Now hear me out here because I loooooove hearing from the mommas and how much they love their photos-- but dads are HARD to win over with family photos. Usually they are a bit grumpy because they expect that they will just have to stand their "cheesing" for an hour. BUT, here's the thing. That's SO not my style! I want the families in front of my camera to enjoy themselves and MAKE memories. So when one of my clients tells me that her husband said the whole experience was "painless" and actually had fun...well guys, that's high praise and makes my heart SO happy to hear!
