From the moment a family finds out that they are expecting child, a whole bunch of planning begins: the baby’s name, the nursery, doctor’s appointments, etc… but how much planning goes into finding a photographer to capture those first 48 hours while you’re still in the hospital with your new bundle of joy? Those are the first special moments you have with the newest member of your family, yet not everyone has photographs from those moments to cherish forever!
Trust me, as a mama myself, I totally get how exhausted new mamas are feeling after giving birth. BEEN THERE. DONE THAT. One of my biggest regrets is that I didn’t know fresh 48 photo sessions were a “thing” when my son was born; so the only photos I have of him (and especially him and I together) are some truly awful cell phone photos. I’m not kidding when I say I have ONE photo of us together during those very first few hours of us getting to know one another. I just never thought to ask someone to take them of me with him, and instead was more focused on taking cell pics for social media. I truly wish I had better quality images of him when he was brand spanking new. That’s why I believe that it’s so special for families to add to their “planning” list a fresh48 and newborn photographer so that moments, like the ones in these pictures below, are captured then treasured forever!
Baby Hadley entered this world with two older brothers (and a ton of family members; like grandma!) eager to meet her! The look on their faces and the gentleness of their touch are things that baby Hadley’s parents will be sure to never forget, not only because the moments were so special, but because those moments were captured for years to come!
